Staying Stylish In The Colder Months

Natasha here, from the fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog Itstashafenn, I am a UK based blogger living in Derby while I study at University. Today's blog post is all about staying stylish (without getting hypothermia) in the colder months to come. In this post, I will also be talking about my winter wishlist this ranges from fashion, beauty and accessories. Make sure you follow me on all my socials, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

The cold British weather has officially arrived, and you know what that means! Time for layers upon layers, big giant jumpers and lots of hot chocolate, or tea or coffee whatever floats your boat. Autumn/Winter is personally my favourite time of the year, I love all the warm and neutral tones as well as the layering of jumpers with scarfs and jackets all things that are on trend this time of the year.

A tip of mine to stay warm and stylish in these colder months leading up to Christmas and the new year is layer, layer and layer! The trick is to layer in sections not having too much fabric in one specific area, you don't want to end up looking like you've worn your whole wardrobe out in public.

With Christmas only a month away and the dreaded 'what do you want for Christmas?' question lurking around. I've gotten to the age now where I don't have a huge list of things I feel I need, it’s more a small list of things that I would like. If you're like me then here is my humble Christmas wishlist:

A little black handbag can last a lifetime.

A staple in my collection has to be a little black bag. A black bag will go with almost any outfit, from a casual day out shopping to a night on the town with the girls. What I love about this handbag from Polkaadot is how stylish and sleek it is, the size is so perfect for my everyday essentials, my phone, purse as well as my lipstick/gloss.

You can never own too many shoes.

In the words of Marilyn Monroe "Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world." I am a 50/50 type of girl, I LOVE my high heels, heeled boots all heels but I'm also a trainer girl through and through. These trainers have been on my wishlist for a while now, as you'll have seen from my Instagram theme I love this trend of chunky 'dad trainers' and these from MissPap are unlike any I own.

Give me a warm fluffy jumper and I'll love you forever.

My jumper collection has recently gotten wayy out of control, but has that stopped me from buying more? Nope. This beautiful warm brown jumper went straight into my wishlist last week when I fell in love with it in Zara, I love the gorgeous details of the gold buttons on the top left shoulder I think it really makes this jumper unique.

It's time to put your sassy pants on.

It's less than 5 weeks till Christmas! You know what that means, its time to get all dolled up and put your sassy pants on because Christmas parties are being thrown left, right and centre! These extremely sassy pants from Polkaadot and I just adore the warm colours and the gorgeous floral pattern this paired with a black crop top and some black strappy heels would be a killer Christmas party outfit!

If you enjoyed this blog post make sure to come back next month when Polkaadot will be uploading a new guest blog post!
